11/04/2011

Today in Social History of Education, Gijs has told us to read the following pages from Puelles' book:
139-149
159-170
191-200
204-211
221-226
229-240

I am trying to download the book, but it seems to be likely impossible, so I will try to get it from the library and scan it, but there are no copies available, at least, until the 16th, so we will have to wait.

"Typical question of the exam (according to Gijs):

Educational politics of the provisional government
• Allowance of education in Catalan schools.
• Religious liberty was defended.
• Main preoccupation was primary education.
• Construction plan for the schools.
• Education is a task of the State.
• Education has to be secular.
• Education should be free.
• Public education has to have an active and creative character.
• Education has to have a social character.
• Public education has to be equal for both sexes.
• The different grades of education have to be connected.
• Teachers should receive a unified education."

Besides, Jesús Paz-Albo has sent us an e-mail giving the dates for the discussions of examination, which are: November, 15th and 16th in Office 62 (Departamental I, Vicálvaro). Still, as far as I know, he hasn't given any grades yet, so it is yet to discuss what the discussions are going to be about...

You can see the theory of education's grades if you enter in the engrade webpage and follow the steps to see your califications, there you can't see anything but if you click on "imprimir" you will see a page with all your grades, and also the test's grade ;)
